Terms of Service

Last updated July 9, 2026

These Terms cover your use of the Max Mouse Mover website and browser extension (together, the "Service"). When you create an account, download the software or otherwise use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The Service

Max Mouse Mover makes small, human-like cursor movements so that your computer and status apps register you as active. It's a convenience tool. It's your responsibility to use it in line with your employer's policies and any agreements you're bound by. We supply the tool, and how you use it is your decision.

Accounts

  • Give us accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for everything done under your account.
  • Your activation key is licensed to you alone. You may not share, resell or distribute it, and doing so can get the key deactivated.
  • You need to be at least 16 to use the Service.

Trial, billing & subscriptions

  • We offer a 3-day free trial. If you haven't cancelled by the time it ends, your paid subscription starts automatically.
  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a repeating basis (monthly or annual) through Stripe until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the current billing period runs out.
  • The extension needs an active subscription to run. If it lapses, is refunded or is charged back, your activation key stops working.

Pricing changes

Our prices can change at any time. For current subscribers, a new price takes effect from your next billing period. Where the law requires it, we'll warn you in advance by email. If you don't accept a new price, cancel before it starts. Staying subscribed after a price change means you accept it.

Refunds

The free trial lets you test the Service fully before paying, so charges are generally non-refundable unless the law says otherwise. If something has gone wrong, email hello@maxmousemover.com and we'll do our best to put it right.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, violate other people's rights, reverse-engineer or resell the software, get around licensing, or interfere with our systems. We can suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.

Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design and branding, and the law protects it. While your subscription is active, we give you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use it. You receive no other rights.

Disclaimers

The Service comes "as is" and "as available," with no warranty of any kind. We make no promise that it will keep any particular status app showing you as active, that it will run without interruption or errors, or that it will work with every system or third-party policy. Use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss that comes from using (or being unable to use) the Service. That includes any fallout with an employer or other third party. Our total liability on any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we shut the Service down. Anything that should logically outlast termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and the limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll update the date above and, where it's appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
