Privacy Policy

Max Mouse Mover ("we," "us," "the app") is meant to run quietly in the background, and to treat your data with the same restraint. This policy lays out what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Using our website or apps means you accept this policy.
What we collect
- Account details. The email address you sign up with, plus a password that we store only in hashed form.
- Billing details. Stripe handles payments. Your full card number never reaches us. We keep your Stripe customer ID and your subscription status so we can run your plan and activation key.
- Activation key. A license key attached to your account, which lets the extension confirm that a subscription is active.
- Basic usage analytics. Aggregate numbers that don't identify you, such as page views and download counts, so we can tell what's working. We don't sell them.
- Support messages. When you write to us, we keep the message and your email address so we can answer.
What we do NOT collect
The extension doesn't record your screen, capture keystrokes, read your files, or monitor which programs you use. All cursor movement happens on your own device. The only thing the app sends out is an HTTPS check on whether your subscription is active, and it never reports what you're doing.
How we use your information
- To set up and protect your account and issue your activation key.
- To take payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To provide support and answer your requests.
- To send the emails an account needs: receipts, password resets, and trial or billing notices. No marketing spam.
Who we share it with
Only the bare minimum goes to the services that keep the product running: Stripe for payments, our database and hosting provider, and our email provider. Each handles data solely to serve us. We never sell your personal information.
Data retention & deletion
We hold your account data for as long as the account stays open. You can delete your account whenever you like, either from your account page or by emailing us, and we'll erase your personal data within 30 days. The exception is any record the law requires us to keep, such as payment records for tax purposes.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connections use HTTPS, and our secrets live in server-side environment variables rather than in client code. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information, and we'll tell you promptly about any breach that touches your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to certain kinds of processing. To use any of these rights, email hello@maxmousemover.com.
Children
Max Mouse Mover isn't aimed at anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly gather data from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the product does. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where it makes sense, email you. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated policy.
